To celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, Baron organized a special Bo Bing event for all the employees of Overseas Department. This time we chose a variety of products with different prices as prizes for the winning players, including shampoo, body wash, cooking oil, vacuum, heating insulation cup, suitcase, wine, and many other useful products. In this joyful afternoon, everybody was excited and looking forward to win the grand prize home! The most attractive prize were 600 RMB cash and edible bird’s nest. Nobody hates money and becoming beautiful after all! After 1 hour of exciting Bo Bing, all of us got prizes, small or big. We were hungry but happy. But how can we have Baron Bo Bing event without a delicious dinner! So we went to a delicate restaurant and had a wonderful dinner together. It was certainly a delightful Mid-Autumn celebration with special event and delicious food, endless conversations, and most importantly, the bonds formed tighter among us. The festival is an important harvest celebration which is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar with a full moon at night. On this festival, Chinese people always eat mooncakes, which refers ‘The round moon cakes are symbols of the great family reunion just like the round.’ Bo Bing is a Chinese dice game traditionally played as part of the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. In modern times, the game has 63 different price of gifts as prizes for the winning players, including daily necessities, household appliances or money. The game requires six dice and a wide mouthed bowl. The first player is assigned and rolls the dice, and wins a specific prize depending on the dice combination. The dice are then passed to the next person, and the process is repeated until there are no prizes left. A throw is declared invalid if at least one of the dice lands outside the bowl. Needless to say, today's Mid-Autumn Festival is a holiday for family reunion.
